You reminded me to get sowing. I have a mains powered heated propogator. I sow them in modules in seed compost in there. I have them in the conservatory but also add artificial light on a timer to extend the 'day' so they don't get too leggy.
You could propogate them in the airing cupboard, but once they are up they need light, could transfer to a windowsill?

I often use little yoghurt "pots", put them on (or near) the radiator and put cling film or a piece of acrylic glass on top to retain moisture.

How do people propagate their chilli seeds? I tend to just pot and keep indoors which works well enough. Was considering keeping some potted up in the airing cupboard covered in clingfilm to retain moisture.
