    Alright then brakeless riders are chosing not to reduce the risk to others, despite the fact that it is inexpensive and convenient to reduce that risk.

    If it cost a thousand quid to fit a brake you might have a point. But it doesn't cost much at all.

  • It wasn’t that convenient, I had to braze canti mounts onto a fork. In fact, I had to braze canti mounts onto the fork I had, which had no way of fitting any brake, figure out that didn’t work, find another fork and braze canti mounts to them.

    Cyclists could choose to limit their speed to 5mph. They wouldn’t need to spend a penny or make even the slightest change to their equipment and the resulting reduction in danger...?
