  • Trainerroad people. In the last two weeks I've done several outdoor efforts of 8 minutes of between 290w and 305w. My best indoor effort on the 8 minute test has been more like 275w. The outdoor efforts have all been on climbs where I've needed to suck it up or just fall over, indoors it's much easier to back off and take it easy. Which do I use to set my FTP?

  • I'd set it based on your outdoor numbers, but just take your training zones down 5% when indoors. That's what I do anyway.
