Good to know. I just dropped off my Seiko 7S26-0064 at a repairers in Clerkenwell Road: http://watchservicecentreclerkenwell.co.uk/
Antique Watch Co which is opposite wouldn't/couldn't repair it for me, and these guys reckon it's gonna be at least £180, maybe more. Once they confirm, that will be my budget for something similar as a replacement...

I gave it away in the end I think.
It was ok, but not a patch on a Seiko in terms of quality. I would have been pissed if I had paid anything close to RRP.
