Not sure if it's the same one, but I think @Stonehedge was selling an MWC for roughly half the site price.

Yup there was the ebay seller of seconds apparently from a military surplus type thing. I think @Stonehedge didn't like it til it was put on a better strap.
Also, in the sea of Rolexes, yesterday i saw an incredibly nice Raymond Weil chrono. The bi-metal looked not horrid.

I like my Seiko diver, but the power reserve is awful and it’s pretty chunky, clunky and heavy. I’ll still wear it, but this looks like a decent looking (although a little knock-off ish), sturdy, reliable tool watch. Something to wear all weekend and not worry about it getting pranged.
Whomst on here has one? Or am I imagining that?
