Interesting thought. Did we ever establish Pinkie’s given name? Could it have been Melvin. Mind you, I always felt that Prewitt had the air of a Melvin about him.

Pinkie would have had a good Catholic name I suppose. Prewitt is definitely more of a Melvin.

I've known several Mervyns, a Shervin, and even a Mogens, but Melvins seem thin on the ground.
