I want to change my caadx for a cross-check. Cross check seems more versatile. On my caadx I'm worried about cracking a stay from heavy panniers (on the v rare occasions I ride with panniers).

I'd say do it, mounts everywhere, huge clearance, strong, non-vertical dropouts. It's great.
