14 days' wages is apparently a common fine.

Maybe a bit excessive, but the concept seems sensible to me.

A boss of Nokia was fined according to his share options, it was £200k for 40 in a 30 ISTR.

There are ways of assessing wealth, tho we know from tax it can be tricky.
