I'm going to use mine for extra water capacity. I reckon it will hold a 1.5-2 Liter soft drink bottle for refilling on tour.

also: what would you take instead?
My commutes almost 15km each way now so would really rather not keep backpacking whenever I want to take the road bike

Also, what do you do when you leave your bike and want to take your stuff with you? 46 cm is not that much, wouldn't recommend
