When I looked in to it the end cap cannot be bought separately. Go figure.
Yes, one might cynically conclude that the exact nature of the freehub in the conversion kit is obfuscated in order to disguise that you might be paying £40 or so for the spacer....
Which is why a campag freehub and cassettte might be the cleaner solution - also doesn't require redishing the wheel.
