Do these self watering thingies work?
Super cheap, but worried that they are unreliable so I'll end up harming my plants somehow. I'll buy a few and report back.
EDIT: A look around the interwebz seem to suggest they can be useful. Not as your primary or only source of watering method, but as an indicator; if the water stays in the bulb the soil must be sufficiently moist.
