Maybe @malandro just knew it, I was trying to hint Hide = leather. And I was vaguely hoping these might help:
Hallowed suggesting hall.
Something like Guilt (y) was a hint for guild.

Maybe the inscription on the gates to the Leathersellers' hall was helpful too.
