Gauging interest in this as I may have another project in the pipe line. 2014 trek madone 2.1, 56cm H2 frameset. I am the second owner of the frameset - the first, a friend of mine had from new and we are both particular with bike setup and maintenance and the frame has been really looked after, certainly never crashed.
As you can see, the frame is polished - I wasnt a fan of the red/black/white colour way and had the paint chemically stripped in Birmingham. I then had it flatted and polished to a mirror finish and it looks awesome. Without fail every time I've ridden as part of a group it turns heads. Original plan was to race it this season and have something a bit different but its a 56cm (and H2 generous headtube) and is a little big for me (for racing, anyway) as i come from a 52/54cm.
Spec is as follows - the picture attached is slightly different in spec but will explain:
Trek Madone 56cm frameset - i have put a kinesis fork on there and cut the steerer right down BUT the bike will be sold with the original carbon fork which has plenty of steerer (at least stem + 30mm of spacers, maybe 40mm)
Brand new (at Christmas) Sram Rival 22 shifters ridden less than 50 miles
Rival 22 front mech
Force rear mech
Rival chain/cassette - 11/28
Sram Red brake calipers
Oval Chainset with new and unused FSA rings 50/34
Bontrager Race 42cm bars
110mm stem
Truvativ Noir Carbon seatpost
Wheels are a light semi aero profile with nearly new S-Works Turbo 24mm tyres
