In general, most of the tubeless tyres I have seen and fitted are noticably stiffer/heavier, but still more comfortable and smoother after running tubeless.
The Switchback Hill of mine, isn't heavy at all, and appear to be a normal construction, it's still exceedingly comfortable to ride with tube, I can see why they recommend a certain sealant with it because the sidewall are very supple with them.

The problem stem from the casting being almost too thin for tubeless.
