The car clearly abducted those three people inside, the wording is entirely consistent to warrant this conclusion.

Serious injuries, though, unusual for this type of crash. Perhaps it was because they first crashed through a wall, which perhaps weakened the car's crash defences, before it crashed into the house.

Hope they'll be OK, not a good end to a joyride.
