This is technically a complete bike... but let me know if it needs to be moved. This is from my Gumtree ad;
Up for sale is my trusty Dawes Galaxy tourer. Its a beautiful vintage sky blue (reynolds 531!) steel frame.
I stripped the bike to give it a clean and convert it to a single speed bike, but I recently purchased another single speed, so this pretty thing has to go. She has been with me for 4 years and has been across the Europe!
Im happy to put everything back together, but I dont have the tools/parts/time to do the gears/brakes, but its nearly ready to go as a single/fixed, or as a the classic tourer. I will throw in both sets of wheels so you can choose yourself. You can even have the pricey Gatorskin tyres. They have served me well and have loads of milage on them left.
You can see the bike in its former glory in one of the photos. But the main photo is how it currently is. I have all the spare parts cleaned and ready to put back on.
So just to reiterate, this is not rideable home yet, it does need new cabling, but thats easy and cheap to do.
£180 and its yours
