My 2 pence, you always have to prioritise the safety of others over the safety of the occupants
That is precisely my opinion.
When I did that quiz I chose in every case to let the vehicle crash in the most controlled way that created as little external safety impact as possible. Meaning it always killed the car driver, and would always prefer to do so by crashing in a straight line, predictably.
However it seems that car manufacturers, car drivers, and the car lobby,are choosing the other side of the argument.

My 2 pence, you always have to prioritise the safety of others over the safety of the occupants, there is an inherent risk in any mode of transport faster than walking and those making the choice to use these modes of transport should bear that risk
