The noise from the lemond is different though - mostly fan noise rather than vibration, so actually if you can shut doors/windows etc then most of the noise transmission is dealt with.

yeah - if you can hear next door hoovering its likely to be about the same volume as that.
Have you met your new neighbours? They might be arseholes, in which case the lemond will be perfect.
