Front mech needs adjusting, was rubbing in the big ring.
Apologies if telling you how to suck eggs, but this is a great guide for the slightly more involved setup of a 11spd Shimano derailleur

So having ridden 50 miles, impressions:
It's a tank. This is both good and bad - super planted descending and there's grip for days, but it is a bit of a pig uphill. Glad for the compact - need to tweak limit screws though as I couldn't use the 28t.
Whisper it, but Shimano is quite nice, got used to the shifting very quickly. Hoods feel weird. It's nice to be able to shift down whilst braking. Front mech needs adjusting, was rubbing in the big ring.
Braking is just excellent.
37mm tyres at 40psi are comfy - think I could drop pressures a bit further. Will experiment.
Based off n=1 it's probably about 1mph avg slower than my road bike, which isn't really very bad.
