The Stayer Cycles workshop is in Leytonstone, East London.
We started professionally in the bicycle business in 2012 with De Vlo and were co directors of Isambard's Cycles in Bethnal Green for three years. In 2015 we stepped out of the shop business to enable us to focus on the development of our engineering and manufacturing skills full time, taking our work in the direction of building frames and very fine wheels.
Older 'vintage' bicycles is where we started and that interest in cycling history and love of beautifully manufactured older components keeps us on the look out for them. We keep learning in this way as well. Seeing how frames have been put together in the past very much informs what we do.
