The driving force behind the festival were the old boy and his wife, Perry and Cathy. Perry died a couple of weeks before the festival this year, and family politics over the will (Cathy was his third wife, I think) mean that nobody is quite sure who will be living in the house this time next year. If whoever finally inherits the house gives Cathy her marching orders, then the continuation of the festival looks doubtful.
