Look up the original triobike, it was a disaster. I like the concept of the lift but I think these bolt on cargo bike kits are a little hard to make work in reality.
As for Bullitt v bakfiets, I prefer the bakfiets and cargo bikes in general with a stepthrough frame. Makes it much easier to dismount if you have a heavy load or childseat on the back.
