So true.
I find especially with clothing, all the LBSs just carry the same lines of Altura, and at much higher cost than you can find online with little effort. There might be a few bits of clothing from other brands but not a decent range of sizes, colours etc.
Re online shopping, I don't think there'll ever be one site/shop that I rely on for everything.
I try and avoid paying postage so often find myself torn between buying from a retailer with a lower item price and one with a lower free post threshold. Or I might pay a bit more for what I originally went looking for in order to be able to bundle something else that I want in order to get free postage.
For me that's all part of the fun if online shopping though. I don't see it as a chore.

A lorra lorra LBS are an absolute shower of chancers with no stock of anything at all. I couldn't even buy some black bartape from mine on the one occasion I darkened their door.
