Direct trains every half hour or so.

The Thameslink station is underneath St Pancras, it feels like you're walking half way to Leeds to get there, it's that far north.

That connection looks good. Not averse to a walk though - the school run is a 3 mile walk daily, and that's before my commute. As long as it's not pissing it down, that is...
