    I've just finished a full mechanical & component restoration on this bike, every nut, bolt & part has been either cleaned, polished, detailed, rebuilt or all four. All of the components look like they've pretty much just came out of the factory, and work accordingly well. I've left the frame untouched because I think it has just the right amount of patina. Bike is ready for L'Eroica :), needs nothing, rides amazingly...

    The group-set is Full Dura-Ace Black edition circa 1978, it was a transitional group-set between 7100 & 7200. The brakes are closer to 7200 design, the front mech is unique to the transitional period and the brake levers are 7200 detailed with black accents to match the Black group-set. The high-flange Dura-Ace Black Edition hubs are also very rare..

    Complete with top Sakae (SR) World Custom finishing kit, black
    handlebars, stem & seatpost.

    • Crankset: Dura-Ace Black Edition: Has been fully polished & detailed, the chainrings have been protected with epoxy based clearcoat. The dustcaps have also been polished and the panto painted in black.

    • Shifters: Dura-Ace 7100: have been disassembled, the mechanisms have been rebuilt and re-greased. Outer caps have been cleaned & polished.

    • Front & Rear Mech's: Dura-Ace Black Edition: Have been fully rebuilt and polished

    • Brakes: Dura-Ace Black Edition: Fully rebuilt, epoxy clearcoated, all nuts & bolts polished, hinges regreased & torqued to spec.

    • Brake Levers: 1st Generation Dura-Ace: Polished & paint detailed with new Dia-Compe hoods...

    -Wheelset:

                - Fully rebuilt, trued, with new stainless steel spokes and brass nipples, new Vittoria                   tubular tires.
                - Hubs: Dura-Ace 1st Generation Black Edition High Flange: Fully rebuilt and all metal parts polished. They have been layered with an epoxy clearcoat for protection & shine as well. They turn like new
                 - Rims: Super Champion Competition: Polished to mirror finish very carefully to leave the original decals.
    
    • Handlebars: SR World Champion Black Edition

    • Seatpost: SR Custom: Polished

    • Stem: SR: Polished & painted-in black.

    • Bottom Bracket: Dura-Ace: Polished, cleaned, greased & adjusted

    • Headset: Dura-Ace Black Edition. Cleaned and re-greased.

    • Saddle: Ideale 2002 (could use a re-cover)
