Barrel adjusters? With the hy/Rd the lever arm needs to retract fully or they won't self adjust, not really a problem on full hydros but easy to do if cable tension is too high, especially if they start feeling slack so you up the tension like you would with a cable brake. Normally backing off tension or releasing the cable and letting the arm go all the way back a few times will sort it.
