• Metallic works better in wet but I've not found wanting either at polo or communing in the wet (one bike man!).

    You lose a bit of modulation if you use metallic pads and yes, organics do wear out much quicker but they're so easy to switch out, cheap as chips and I don't need more bite.

    It still last for quite a while, getting a year out of resin is a good trade off, and somewhat kinder to rotor too (mine gonr alarmingly thin after using the full metal one).

  • Same observation too with metallic pads, replaced my rotor after 4 or 5 months of polo and commuting.

    Again, it's not that much to replace a rotor but I wasn't expecting that!
