  • Excuse me if I'm telling you what you already know, but the BB is determined by a) the frame and b) the cranks.

    a) The shell (the part of the frame into which the BB fits) will be of a particular "standard", which specifies the diameter, the width and the threading of the shell.

    b) The cranks will need a certain length/width (the distance from the left-hand side to the right hand side/non-drive side to drive side) of BB to achieve a certain chainline.

    The Chin Haur numbers you've quoted, don't correspond to any BB measurements so I can only assume they're a part number etc.

    The Shimano UN-55 is all the BB you'll need: available in a wide range of sizes and about £12 from everywhere.

    Sheldon's cribsheet details all the various standards.

    Having established which standard your frame is, you then need to identify your cranks to decide upon the length/width of BB.

    There's a bit more to it than what I've listed above, but if you figure out the frame standard and what cranks you have, we can take it from there.
