Our cat (deceased at the good age of 18) has had that same problem from age 12 on, bladder stones blocking the pee exit canals... they removed his penis to allow any little stones to pass, and he did OK for the last 6 years, on special food

Thanks Peter V. He seems to have bounced back from the surgery pretty quickly. He's on meds twice a day, and hopefully he will keep his penis. I think e are going to have to alter his diet a bit, his diet is fine, so more of a preventative measure.
