In my time here in the USA USA i have seen multiple uses of the humble milkcrate they are sturdy strong and are great for storing things as they stack up, but they are are also great for sitting in the street on. If you look closely on the left you see the tell tail sign of a seat crate the inward curve of the top edge and of course they make great cycle baskets!
