I should add that I also follow the Private Eye line. It's long been scathingly critical of the Guardian for offering its content entirely for free. I think Private Eye is completely correct in this.
One thing I haven't done is become a supporter/'member' of the Guardian, even though I read it most of the time. Perhaps I should. I must admit, though, that I sometimes wish everybody would just move back to printed papers again, although I realise that's not going to happen, of course.
