- are any of these hand-held?
- any tips for metering snowy landscapes?

Yes, everything is shot hand-held, upto 1/2 second (this is why I specifically wanted an mf rangefinder, not slr). Anything longer than that, I brace the camera against a wall/rock/anything solid. I don't carry a tripod, especially in the mountains, as the camera itself is weighty enough already! All of these shots are un-metered. I just use my eyes and the sunny-16 rule!
