Clearance is pretty tight on the front tyre/downtube with the correct fork so you need to be sure the non standard fork's rake/geometry makes for correct clearance or you could run into problems.
Looks nice all the same but personally I think this is a better prospect, correct fork and although it's tatty it could be repainted properly and you'd still have some change left over.
