In keeping with @Tenderloin 's experience with odd stuff left by the previous owner, yesterday when dismantling the fitted wardrobes I found a collection of letters the owner had written his wife (and hers to him) in the early 60s when he worked abroad as an engineer in India, Dubai, Cairo, etc. This made me pretty sad as I know he's in a home in the latter stages of dementia and he wrote beautifully.
Then today when I was ripping out the kitchen I found a box of .22 bullets, a nearly finished box of strange erection pills and £410 in old tenners. Ah well, rough with the smooth.
Ps. All items will be reunited with the family.
