Thanks everyone, I'm still slightly in shock that it actually went through.
At the start they said they wanted a quick sale and we thought us being cash buyers would make it plain sailing. Turns out the seller and their solicitors were either incredibly disorganised or just plain shit and spent weeks/months answering my solicitors questions.
Anyway it's done now, hurrah!
