I currently ride a 8 year old Pompino which is the BEST bike I own! I have it set up as a lightweight singlespeed. I feel the time is now coming to replace it with something that has discs as braking in this weather creates a horrid noise and has little effect on reducing my speed! I have looked at the Genesis Day One and Cotic Roadrat but I wondered what other options are out there? I don't want some big, heavy utilitarian thing, just something simple and light to keep me fit over the winters. Ideally it should be steel!
