I go and buy a pair of spyres for a build. Then I buy the frame (expected in January) and now I realise the rear mount is flat mount and that isn't the same as the spyre fitting?
Is that right?
Does a spyre caliper fit a shimano flat mount thingy?

Welcome to the world of disc mount adaptors.

I think TRP do a flat mount version. If yours aren't, then you should be able to get an adaptor that will mean they fit.

I've just had a quick google for a flat mount one from trp and it looks like they are releasing it next year. I might buy the adapter for now and when the flat mount is available just do a swap and sell a second hand spyre. Thanks!
