They generally ride worse than non-aero bikes as a result of the tubing profiles. Also likely to have more aggressive geometry as they're supposed to be race bikes. If you're not racing do you need the absolutely minimal wattage saving? I'm an aerogeek but an aero frame is very low down the list of priorities for my road bike.
