riding along after work and heading home. was in the cycle lane and a bus starts going past me, quite close, just as the middle of the bus is parallel to me the driver swings over to the left. the bus pushed me and I had to jump onto the kerb. I banged on the bus and he stops and just gives me a cheery wave. so i put my bike up against the front of the bus and boarded. i ask for his details, badge number, registration and depot. cunts on the bus start having a go at me "its a bit selfish stopping the bus" "cant you do this later" "we've all got homes to go to"
after his initial jolly wave, the bus driver actually went into shock, he was pale and shaking, which probably was not helped by me knowing all the details to request from him and me then asking if he has done the safe urban driving CPC and if he understands how to behave around vulnerable road users. he was very apologetic but clearly shaken up
i didn't seriously lose my rag, he was remorseful, the general public are utterly selfish cunts
