Since pottering along on the folding bike I've not been wearing a helmet as religiously as I normally do on the road bikes. Finally it doesn't feel weird to be without (I actually feel naked on the road bike without one, weirdo). However I'm going slower, on shared use paths blah blah blah.
My main ball ache with not wearing a helmet is now I don't wear my cycling glasses (they live in my helmet), so I'm getting loads of bastard insects fly into my eyeballs...
