Hi All, I recently built this fixie conversion in response to a wanted thread so another forum member has first dibs, but I'm keen to get it out the house, so if the sale falls through it will be up for grabs.
The bike is based on a 1980's frame and forks made by the Belgian brand Superia and built from "Bonderized R.C Tubing". The seat tube is 60cm c-c, so should suit anyone from 6' to 6' 3". I basically teamed up the frame, forks, original cockpit and chainset with a modern wheelset, brakeset etc.
The wheelset is an unbranded deep-v pair that came with my Bianchi Pista Steel, with high flange hubs, the rear being flip-flop with a 17 tooth cog and lockring fitted on one side and a 17 tooth Shimano SF-MX30 freewheel on the other. The tyres are new Schwalbe Lugano's (700x23c). Up front the chainring is 52 tooth but I can include the other original 42 tooth ring if you want a spinnier ratio.
Brakes-wise the callipers are long drop Tektro 559's with new pads and the levers are Acor cross tops. Other than that the saddle is a Charge Spoon in great condition with an unbranded seat post, and the pedals are just some basic VP-566 MTB platform style ones, but I'll include some new straps.
The headset and bottom bracket were serviced before assembly, so the bike rides smooth and quiet. I'm looking for £140 now (was £150) and the bike is based in London E14, please PM if interested.
