Sometimes I love German driving etiquette. Went down one of the few wider (no 30km/h limit) streets without a segregated cycle lane and got a multitude of wonderfully wide passes. The lorry even went as wide as 2-3m around me.
When on a cycle lane though I feel a little invisible at times. Today again one driver pulled out of a courtyard into the cycle lane without feeling inclined to check in my direction. He finally did, but stayed planted on the lane giving me a wonderful 30cm space to ride around him.
Meh.
Still, would ride again.
