This is how I see it right now:
the steel Ibex will be rebuilt with the "old" stuff and the Master Alloy will be the modern bike:
light suspension fork
sram 2x10 X9 groupset or better
in the front: disc brake
in the rear: I'm not sure yet. Magura rim brake, a powerful V-brake (any suggestions?) or an adaptor so I can put disc brakes on it.
As I have more projects than money at the moment, I will try to buy "preloved" stuff as much as possible.
