The houses round the corner are listed grade 2 but there's nothing I can find about the one we're looking at. Another query to forward on to the solicitor. Maybe it was a condition of the planning permission that the front of the building remained intact rather than it being specifically listed?
If it's part of the planning permission chances are you can get the docs online. Just search for the address on the planning portal and you should be set.
