I did follow one of the plans earlier this year and found it ok, as far as a generic plan goes. I need structure and goals, so plans are good for me. However, I'm writing my own training plan for this winter. Mainly to understand it all a bit more clearly and also to target my weaknesses more specifically.

Also, to all trainerroad users:
I have used it before but stopped now. Am starting to think that a bit of structure to my winter training would be a good thing rather than picking and choosing what i do on the turbo.
Does anyone here actually use the training plans? Are they worth it?
