I've never used it for real-time data - just gpx files
If you're looking for a live feed from your ANt+ device, you'll need to set up a windows VM on your linux box, as there are no native Ant+ drivers, nor do Ant+ drivers work under Wine or Mono.
That being said, trainerroad works ok through a Windows VM on Linux (although you may have to bugger about with video codecs to prevent stuttering).
