Finished! Couple photos of a built bike. Took it for a maiden voyage yesterday. Felt a lot more responsive than I'd anticipated. Very very direct ride. You might notice that the first photo has that Panasonic (yellow walled) tyre on the front. I've just fitted a Conti in its place (second photo).. not sure it'll make a huge difference to the ride but nonetheless, that is done.
So- overall, I am very very happy with this build. It feels amazing to ride. It is lighter than I thought it'd be, the cotton bartape looks quite nice from some angles but I'm not sure I'm totally sold on the feel of it, its a 49x17 which is about 4" more than I'm used to so skidding feels a little bit sore right now but I'm in love the power it delivers- once winter sets I might adjust, the bars are nice to ride but I'm not totally sold on their appearance (will decide later if I care about this), chain is silent after a little adjustment on the crankset. Soon as the dark clouds leave I'll do a distance ride and really get a feel for it but I must say that as of now.. I'm a pig in shit :D
