Segmented ones like Powercordz, Alligator. But pricey. Conti Supersonics with latex tubes would save a bit (and make you measurably faster) but delicate.

I'll have a look. Having said this bike will probably be ridden in the rain at some point, its maiden voyage yesterday just happened to be in the rain. So latex tubes are out.
FD is also having issues (obviously), is there a bike shop that could help in exchange for beers? Ive run out of favours with my LBS

Thatll be the next port of call. Done some maths and should drop about 450-500 grams. Still want to go below 7kg if possible. Which are the lightest cables?
