God, I hate bell tingers. If a pedestrian's in your way or endangering themselves they can hear you if you tell them. With your mouth. The bell is such an barrier-establishing, anti-communication piece of crap.
All that 'pedestrians in the way' as well. If you think the road is yours just because the lights say so then you're viewing the whole thing as a food chain. Makes you very much like the 'I pay road tax' guys.
