Yes, I expect so, and as you say time is the only answer.
Higgs is also totally unsure what to make of Stanley the Hoover - he is a robot, which hoovers the flat each day at half twelve, which makes him look like a creature, but the rest of the time he sits on his charging point, which makes him a box.
